It seems everyone is getting into the marijuana business lately. With laws being passed such as California’s legalization of recreational marijuana and the boom of cannabis stocks, also know as marijuana stocks, it seems everyone is getting in on the action.
Even the likes of former professional boxer Mike Tyson.
Tyson recently broke ground on a 40-acre plot of land located in California City, around 60 miles southwest of Death Valley National Park, which he intends to use to grow marijuana as well as to fund research into the medical effects of marijuana, according to Gary Trock of The Blast.
It will be called ‘Tyson Ranch’.
According to the details of the report, 20 acres of the area will be used to create “high-quality strains of THC and CBD” and will feature a hydro-feed plant and supply store, an extraction facility, an edible factory, premium “glamping” campgrounds and cabins, an amphitheater and the Tyson Cultivation School to teach new marijuana growers.
In fact, let’s just go ahead and call Tyson the ‘Willie Wonka of Marijuana’.
California became the sixth state to allow recreational use of the drug as of January 1st and people, along with businesses, are wasting no time in capitalizing on the move.
Time will tell if Tyson’s new venture will be a “knockout”, or if it proves he’s bitten off more than he could chew…. get it?
